Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Hoshino Resorts Kai Hakone had its highlights, especially the beautiful onsen and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. however, the remote location made it difficult to get around, which added stress to our experience. The meals were authentic but didn't cater well to my family's tastes, and the service felt overly meticulous at times, which was a bit frustrating.
Staying at Hoshino Resorts Kai Hakone was a fantastic experience. The location next to the river provided a soothing atmosphere, making my stay relaxing. While I found it slightly removed from the main town center, the tranquil surroundings more than made up for it. The highlight was definitely the onsen, which was beautiful and peaceful, offering a unique cultural immersion into traditional Japanese hospitality.
My stay at Hoshino Resorts Kai Hakone was a blend of tranquility and frustrations. The onsen experience was undeniably peaceful, and I had one of the best sleeps in years, but the challenges with transportation and the lack of dining options left much to be desired. While the room was spacious and beautiful, I wished for a bit more flexibility and clarity from the staff. Overall, it was a mixed experience. 🏯💤
I had a delightful stay at Hoshino Resorts Kai Hakone to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday. The location was perfect for relaxation, especially with the stunning river views and proximity to Owakudani for some scenic adventures. While the room was spacious and clean, I noticed a bit of a smell in the toilet area and there was no hotel WiFi reception. Overall, the experience was worth it for the serene atmosphere and special celebrations.
My stay at Hoshino Resorts Kai Hakone was a mixed experience. The onsen was stunning and the rooms offered a peaceful retreat, but I struggled with the location and the dining options. While I enjoyed a comfortable bed and great views, logistical challenges and limited meal choices made it challenging to fully relax. 😊
